“So are you going to tell me to wave a treat in my dog’s face whenever there is another dog around?”
NO!
While I do use treats as a great form of reward (among others), I want you to learn to use them in a way that your dog learns to willingly offer focus on you FIRST and then turn it into such a habit that you don’t even need to have treats on you.
Treats are a tool. Just like any other tool, it’s only required to create the structure, not to hold it up.
However, it’s important that your dog feels motivated to work for you and do what you want, so we’ll teach ways to keep up motivation, both with and without treats.
Because...
Motivation = training
You don’t need to spend 2 years becoming a professional dog trainer.
If you get inspired, you can learn more if you want to after…
But Frantic To Focused is a shortcut to help you and your dog get your foundations in place, then get out there and enjoy your walks together and work as a team.
Just follow the steps and demos in the videos
Even if you are a complete newbie to dog training
Even if you are a professional dog trainer but you need more skills in reactivity
Even if you’ve tried to fix the problem in the past and failed (been there, I get it! But don’t give up!)
The best time to do this was probably a while ago. But it’s okay - because the second best time is right now.
